David Hunter – IRS Tax Doctor

I usually do not write reviews about things , even when I get ripped off , but this was a case where I felt I have to speak out so no one else will be ripped off from David Hunter of IRS Tax Doctors again.  It started back in early April of 2011 I had a old business tax problem I needed some assistance with  and I found David Hunter of IRS Tax Doctors on the internet . I called and left a message and about 12 hours later received a call back from David Hunter. We talked about my problem and we scheduled an appointment for me to come to what I thought was an office. The day of the appointment I arrived at not an Office but David Hunters run down apartment. I knocked on the door and there was no answer I called a few times figuring I was early and he just had not gotten back yet after waiting 45 minutes and no one showing up I left. About 5 hours later I got another call from David Hunter of Irs Tax Doctors , he claimed that he had a family emergency and was unable to call me to cancel the appointment , this should have tipped me off but I have a trusting nature and gave him the benefit of the doubt . I hired him and sent a $200 retainer which I was suppose to receive a receipt for and never did. When I hired him we scheduled a time to have a phone conference with the agent that was handling my case . I waited by the phone at the time specified and there was no call from David Hunter from IRS Tax Doctor. After about 45 min of waiting I called him and left messages on his cell phone about 30 min later I get a call from him from his girlfriends home phone , at this point I am extremely worried about the professionalism David Hunter shows , he claims to be a big shot Tax negotiator but I have very serious doubts any of his claims are true. So I am ready for this phone meeting with the agent handling my case and David Hunter but instead he called the IRS help line to ask questions about points of tax law that I could have answered for him. We never did call the case worker instead he said he would make the call that afternoon and call me back. Two weeks later and I still had not heard back from Mr Hunter, I left messages sent emails all went unanswered finally a few weeks later after calling what I think was his girlfriends phone I got a text message from David Hunter stating that my Irs agent would not answer the phone or return his calls. WE kept this up for almost 3 months him never talking to me directly on texting me and text very little maybe once or twice. I finally sent an angry email asking for a refund of my $200 you got it. I have never in 12 years practicing at a very high level, going to tax court, being an advisor  to Senate staff on hearings on IRS abuse, which led to reform and the taxpayers bill of rights. So I am not some fly by night tax acct. Your IRS case worker is one of the worst at returning or even answering his phone.I also have approx 15-18 cases at any one time, and I can assure you, that at the end of my time working with these clients, they will all think I walk on water, as I see things thru, and usually with a winning bent. You have been very lax also when it came to this case. I mentioned to someone last week, when I wondered  aloud if this was very important to you. You say in your e-mail request that you think I may have put in an hour.In reading and answering e-mails, approx 2-3. In calling the IRS on your  behalf and in meeting you to pk up the retainer because you could not come to my office and the thinking and reading that I put into your case an hour was easily reached. As per the absolute average of what one in my profession with my experience and educational background charges as a fee per hour it is $175 per hour. I will gladly refund the difference $25 and chalk it up to live and learn. My aim was not to “steal” you $175, I would have liked to seen the case thru and earned $400-$500 which is what happens on 99.9999999999% of my cases. I will mail out to you the refund tomorrow AS you can already guess I never even received the $25.00 . I can say for a fact at this point he never made 1 phone call to the IRS on my behalf . I asked for a detailed billing statement and never received anything he is back to not answering emails or phone calls . Also notice he claims I am lax  in this  after all the phone calls and emails I made to him pushing him every step of the way. I hired him to do the work how can I be lax. Also he states in the email that he discussed my case with other people I find this a huge invasion of privacy. Since then I have done a little research about David Hunter and cannot find anything to support any of the claims he makes in the email about his background as well I was unable to find a business license for his company registered with , Las Vegas or Clark County . So before you consider hiring David Hunter of IRS Tax Doctors do your research first.

Mold needs only three things to grow: (1) an organic food source such as wood, paper, fabric, leather, wool, etc., (even dirt on inorganic materials has enough organic material to support mold growth); (2) an agreeable temperature range between 68º and 86º F, which is typical of most occupied buildings; and (3) sufficient moisture that can come from a plumbing leak, water damage from a storm (or even high humidity).
In most homes, the conditions are nearly ideal for mold to grow - there is only one (1) requirement item that is missing - water. If you now add water from a storm, or other source, and you do not remediate quickly and correctly, then mold will grow. Following any water damage event, the very best way to ensure that mold will not begin to grow is to contact a restoration professional to remediate the loss, or, at a minimum, have a professional come out and do an inspection to confirm that there are no lingering (mold-causing) problems in the home. A restoration professional has a wide variety of professional tools and meters to evaluate a home quickly and thoroughly. If there are problem areas then he/she will be able to develop a plan for complete remediation and restoration of the property. If, despite all of your best efforts, you suspect that there is mold in your home, it is important to know what to do. The distinctive "musty/ moldy odor" is the result of Microbial Volatile Organic Compounds (MVOs), the gases that are released into the air whenever mold is growing and digesting food sources. When you notice the "moldy" smell, then, somewhere, mold is growing. A very little mold can give off a lot of odor. It is important to find the mold and to properly remediate the problem, and to be sure the underlying water problem is resolved or fixed. Again, a restoration professional is a great resource to assist in the evaluation and the remedy.
Mold should not be ignored. Department of Health officials state that, "Many, if not most, molds can produce potentially harmful substances, whether it's allergens, mycotoxins, or other compounds. Often, people will attempt to remove small amounts of mold themselves. A common example is when mold (sometimes called "mildew") is growing on the grout of bathroom tile. Commercial cleaners designed for mold and mildew removal are usually successful in such cases. Obviously, the user should follow label directions, wear gloves and eye protection, and ensure there is adequate ventilation to avoid the buildup of unpleasant vapors. It is important to remember that such cleaners consist mostly of water (bleach can be 90% or more), and that moisture is the leading cause of mold growth. It is therefore essential to thoroughly dry the area after cleaning. Even a small fan is can provide huge assistance in helping to dry materials. But in a high moisture environment it is necessary to use industrial dehumidifiers that will heat the air so it will dry. If it is left moist, the mold/mildew will usually reappear in a very short time.
If a significant amount of mold is present, or if you are simply not comfortable in dealing with the overall situation, then a professional remediation company should be contacted to assist with evaluation and remediation. Such a company will establish a containment area around the materials to prevent the spread of mold and spores to other unaffected parts of the building. And, finally, it is essential that the underlying water problem that allowed the mold to grow in the first place is fixed. If that is not done, then mold will almost certainly reappear.

As each person enters the Shark Tank, the Sharks who invest their own money are only concerned with a few things, which I will explain here. The first issue is do you have a good business or idea? How does the Company make money? Does the Company have any paying customers? What does the product or service cost, what is the profit margin and overall profit of the business? Is there a patent pending on the product? Is the market large enough for an investor to make any money (Market Studies can help)? Who are your competitors?
As you begin to answer these questions, you will quickly get a sense as to which Sharks will be interested in your business. Some Sharks understand selling products on TV, while others understand retail stores and still others understand technology such as computer software. An investor that understands your business is more likely to invest than one who does not.
The next "Key" question is: what is your business worth? Every entrepreneur believes that their business is worth much more than it really is. After years of consulting and having raised millions of dollars myself, I can clearly state that the value an investor places on your business is nearly always less then what you would value the business at.
Investors don't care how much "sweat equity" or money you spent on the business in the past. All they care about is where are you now, what will you do with their money and how will they get it back and make a profit. If you can't answer these questions convincingly, then nobody will invest with you.
The question now is what is your business worth? The valuation argument is just that "an argument." However, you can use these guidelines: You are probably worth 1-2 times sales. You could also be worth some multiple of your annual profit, but most small businesses don't have much profit so it is better to focus on sales also called revenue. If you do have a patent that can add some value, but it is not likely to be a million dollars, but it could be $25-100,000 or more in some, but rare cases.
Now that you understand the basics, let's be realistic about who you are and what you are qualified to do. The first thing is to understand that somebody who has a great idea and/or invention may not be the best choice to serve as CEO of the business. The reasons are many, but to keep it simple the skills are very different. To invent something is a great skill that is accomplished by someone with incredible drive to work for hours on end trying to find a new way of doing something. Many times this person works alone for long periods of time. Conversely, the typical CEO is more of a manager who oversees the work of others versus having to do everything for him or herself. To effectively grow a business, you need somebody who can delegate work to others. Otherwise, you really don't have a business that can be scaled. The problem with many great inventors is that they think they are the only ones who can do their work. If that is the case, you don't really have a business that can be scaled and as a result, there is no real way for investors to make money because the business will remain too small since the inventor will need to be involved in everything. As we all know there is only so much of any of us to go around. As a result, the best role for some inventors is to serve as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or other similar capacity and bring in someone who is more focused on driving revenue. For those inventors who can do this, they have a great chance to see their dreams become reality. For those who cannot, then the chances of success are very slim. Some of the greatest Ideas or inventions I have ever seen are by people who can't "let go" and get the help they need, because they think as the inventor they need to be involved in every decision and/or have total control. As a result, their ideas and/or inventions are doomed to go to the grave with them without ever making it to market. Remember, investors don't love your business (you do). They only want to make money. Therefore, you have to decide which is more important to you: Making money or being in charge whether you are qualified or not? Always remember, you are seeking funding for a business to make money, not one of your children or a family pet. As a result, you must remove the emotion you attach to your work and focus on making the best decisions you can that will get you the money and the help you need to become a success, even if that means you have to step aside and/or even collect a royalty. Always remember this: Great Ideas + No Money = No Money. How great is Your idea, if you can't adapt yourself as may be necessary to get the money? There is no future in taking a great idea or invention to the grave with you. The real losers in that scenario are you and your family having to live a lifetime of what might have been. Think about it!
This article cannot possibly answer every question you might have about your business or valuation subject, but keep this in mind: Most investors will only buy into your business for what it is worth now and maybe a slight premium, but nobody will invest hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars on a pipe dream. Therefore, you must demonstrate that you will be realistic and responsible for the money you seek and that you will spend money on only those things that will accomplish the goals you need to get to the next level. More importantly, if you don't have the skills necessary to run the business that you can step aside and bring in someone else who can. If you can do this, you will have accomplished the most important milestone an entrepreneur can reach and that is the ability to think like the investor, because the primary goal in ANY business should be to make money. Yes, you can accomplish other goals such as being a Green Company or provide a solution to a problem, but unless you make money, you're not really a business.
Of course, this is just a brief overview of the important considerations you need to account for when you try to raise money for your new large or small business. Furthermore, you need to understand the importance of online marketing as it continues to grow in popularity, since many small businesses can begin to use this inexpensive resource to help grow their businesses and expand their resources to the fullest.

As you begin to develop and/or expand your presence on the Internet for your business consider this: Raising money and generating revenue is necessary for the survival of all businesses. Today, the internet is playing an increasing role in how businesses will compete.
