Despite its size, postcards can have many uses: as a business card, as invitations for events, events notice, and discount coupon, among others. It is one of the effective and indispensable parts of a mail marketing campaign among business owners because of its quick turnaround.
Cost
Postcard printing requires paper as well as ink. Thus, you have to invest in these two. There are different types of paper, too, to use in postcard printing. Therefore, you have to know the paper types ideal for postcard printing. Heavier stack are durable, but they are expensive. You may also have to check the difference between coated and uncoated. Coated card stack provide a glossy finish.
Types
Post cards are available in different sizes. These sizes include 4x6 inches (10x15 cm), 5x7 inches (13x18 cm) and 5.5x8.5 inches (14x22 cm). Since a postcard has limited text space, you need to make the most out of it. Text is always an important part, so you need to make a brief and concise message. You can use the back of your postcard to your advantage. You can use it as an order or reply form, for example.
Benefits
Postcard printing offers benefits to entrepreneurs. It is a handy material that you send to potential clients or customers to create buzz or garner attention. It is a test-marketing tool that can be sent before a full blown marketing campaign. In just a few days, you can get information from your clients.
Advantages
One advantage of postcards is that you do not have to utilize special skills, specialized services or even additional equipment to produce it. You can simply order postcards from online printing companies en masse. Aside from that, you can make postcards on your own at your home workstation.
Message
Just like in advertising, though, you need to attract your clients or customers through your message. Keep it clear and direct. Use funny images or captivating statements to attract attention. You also need to involve the reader. Using the word "you" is a proven strategy. Talk to the reader in a direct manner.
Postcards are an inexpensive marketing tool. You do not have to spend a huge amount of money to market your products or services. Postcards, although low cost and old fashioned, can help you improve your business, introduce your products and services, generate leads as well as close sales.

In the pursuit generating traffic to their blog or websites, most online business owners take on one internet marketing strategy after another in the hope that they will finally establish the best. But to maximize and get the best out of your promotion efforts, the secret is to work with more than one marketing tactic.
One
internet marketing strategy is buying a domain name. It is good to note that a domain name shows professionalism though it may not necessarily help generate high volume traffic to your blog or website. A domain name only assists in driving traffic when you use keywords that are commonly used by people when browsing. In addition, making sure you mention your keywords in most of your content updates.
When choosing a domain name ensure you use common keywords. Though there is a lot of competition when it comes to acquiring a good domain name, take your time before purchasing one. For example, if your website or blog is about "business opportunities", take time to find keywords that are common and close to the theme of this same subject. This will turn out to be a vital internet marketing strategy to generate traffic.
The best thing is to use same keywords in your domain name, for example, newbiebusinessopprtunities.com. This will ensure that when people search for online opportunities, search engines will find your domain name relevant hence include it in their result page. This internet marketing strategy will not only attract targeted traffic to your blog but will also improve your page ranking with search engines.
Expert Internet marketers advise that you do not necessarily need to buy many domain names as an internet marketing strategy. All you need is to carefully choose a domain name that is rich in keywords and then use the other website promotion tactics available to drive traffic to your business links.
The links below will reveal to you more internet marketing strategies to implement thus generate online sale leads.

Confused about what angle you are taking your print brochures? Do not worry, you are not alone. A lot of people have trouble deciding the perfect marketing angle in brochure printing. There are just so many ways you can design and compose your designs for readers. Luckily for you though, I have a few "hook concepts" in
brochure printing that I can teach you. These hooks are what a lot of experts base their marketing angle on for color brochures. So let me layout for you each one that you might find useful.
The freebie hook. The first very effective hook to use for brochure printing is the classic but still effective "freebie" hook. This basically has you stating prominently in the brochure that you have something free or discounted to give to readers. Be it free advice, free products or discounts and other special offers, almost everyone still is curious about anything that is apparently given for free. So this is a great and classic marketing angle that you can use from time to time to get people to pick up your brochures.
The knowledge hook. Another very effective hook for audiences when you print brochures is the "knowledge" hook. Knowledge as you know is considered a kind of power, and lots of people do like any chance of getting free useful information from professional color brochures. It might just be tips on how to do something, or maybe even a life altering revelation of sorts. You can even focus on the important issues your target markets are dealing with and give them some great information that will help them solve those issues. Trust me, if you tell people that you are giving away some useful and even vital information in your color brochures, they will pick them up and see if it is indeed the information that they need and want.
The bandwagon hook. You may also want to try the "bandwagon" hook for marketing brochures. This marketing angle basically has you telling people that others are already following your offer. For example statements like "10 people have already won a mobile phone, join the contest and be the next...." is a great example of a bandwagon hook. By letting people know that they are missing something by not joining, they will be more encouraged to join the bandwagon since others are already in it. This works wonders for contest brochures, service brochures and many other content where you want your brochures to gather people.
The urgency hook. There is also a very simple marketing hook called the "urgency" hook. For color brochures, this means writing content that tells people there is limited time to get a gain on something. For example, you can offer products in the brochure for a "limited time only!" to get people to go immediately and get the offer. Beyond that you can also say that there are only "limited stocks" for the offer, or maybe only the first 100 customers will get the free add-on on the product. Statements of urgency just like that can really work effectively on people as they always want to get a great opportunity immediately when it happens.
The warning hook. Finally, you should know that people pay attention to warnings and important notices. The "warning" marketing hook basically has you posting important notices and of course "warnings" to people about dangerous practices, events, personal situations etc. With a big warning sign in your color brochures about a certain topic, most people cannot but pick up your warning brochures to see what they should be concerned about. If you compose your color brochures well, you should be able to get them reading and then hopefully concerned enough to respond to your color brochures.
So why do not you try one of these marketing angles or audience hooks. These are classic but still very effective at getting people to notice and respond to your brochure printing. Go ahead and see if they will work for your color brochures.

Each day there are more human edited web directories that have become available for people to take advantage of on the internet. Right now there are literally thousands of editors available that do this everyday on a regular basis. As most of the time someone or the other will be available to do the editing work it makes little difference when one stops. You can choose between free and paid human edited directories to use as a resource. Both the free and paid human web directories provide similar backlinks even though they have a lot of dissimilarities.
As far as the 'paid' human edited web directories go, apparently the first word tells it all. To use their services one has to make an initial payment. When you put money into something, you most likely will get a better quality review and there will be a specific time that it will be delivered to you, unlike with the free human edited directories. The review services can be availed on a permanent basis or the one that consists of a one time fee that the user is willing to pay.
It is the no fees service for the reviews that the free human edited directories provide which is why so many people prefer to take this service. The directorys TOS Terms of service has to be read completely before making use of it. You will usually have to fill out form for the guidelines. As soon as the form has been submitted one has to only wait for an approval from the web directory for the listing being accepted or not. The end result of applying to a free human edited web directory cannot be certainly said as to when an approval canbe expected being one of the major disadvantages. The time may vary from a few days to some months. Within a short period of time the ad will be removed in the free web directory services. An administrator takes the decision for how much period the ad has to be run like for a few weeks or just remove it for placement of other ads.
Depending on what you will be using the free human edited web directory services for should help you to determine whether it is best for you or if you'd be better off paying a membership or a one time fee. If you have a very important product or service to promote then it shouldn't hurt you to splurge a little bit of money to get it onto the directory. Atleast a listing on it will be assured for you. On the other hand there is nothing like getting a free directory service if you can just to start off with; using multiple free web directories to submit your advertisements will give you more of a chance that you will get approved.

Most experts agree that marketing collaterals like your
brochures should be able to make a favorable impression right away. If your print brochure does not get the attention it deserves, say in the first few seconds, chances are your brochure printing would be trashed.
So how many seconds do you have? Well, according to marketing professionals, your brochures have a life span of seven seconds. This means that if the brochures do not get the attention of your prospect in seven seconds, be ready to say goodbye to it.
To know if your brochure printing has what it takes to get the attention of your target clients, get this seven-second test to discover how your custom brochure prints would fare. Give yourself a tick for every "yes" and an "X" for every "no".
Seven seconds: Does it appeal to emotions? The old adage in marketing that consumers buy based on emotions and justify with logic later on is quite true. Your brochures should then appeal to emotions more than anything else. In other words, they should appeal to the heart and connect with each of your prospects desires. It should be able to strike an emotion chord within the first seven seconds or you lose its effectiveness.
Six Seconds: Does your brochure printing look professional? In the first six seconds, your prospects should be able to decipher whether your brochure prints are professional or cheap. A cheap brochure has poor quality images because the printing is not exactly what you will call professionally done. Poor quality photos or images produce bad prints.
Five Seconds: Is your brochure printing personal? Your print brochure should be able to connect personally with your prospects. A shotgun approach to printing a brochure does not work. Your brochure should be able to address the concerns of your prospects directly. It should be able to answer their questions. Essentially, your brochure should be able to do this in five seconds. If it does not connect within this period of time, it will more likely end in the trash.
Four seconds: Is your brochure pleasing to the eye? This means that in four seconds, your brochure must have convinced your prospects that this piece of folded paper is worth the look. In other words, your brochure design should be pleasing to the eye. It should not be cluttered with so many things because if it does, your readers would not spend any second with it. Readability and visually delightful to look at - these are things your brochure should exude in four seconds.
Three Seconds: Does your brochure have a clear message? Your brochure should have one single message that is very clear to all your prospects. Yes, it is tempting for amateur marketing professionals to want to include as much information in the brochure; but little do they know that too much information is a turn-off. A fully loaded brochure confuses your readers. What you should do is to focus on one single message that is clear and concise and easily identifiable in three seconds.
Two Seconds: Does your brochure highlight your product or service? Within two seconds, your readers must be able to identify what you are trying to offer. The product or service must be easily identifiable. Do not bury the product or service in the inside pages because you only have two seconds to get that out to your prospects or you lose them completely.
One Second: Does your brochure make an Action Call? Your brochure should be able to tell your prospect what they should do in one second. Be it "buy the product" or "try the service", your brochure must be able to get this message out in one second.
If you get a yes for all seven seconds, keep your brochures - you have done a really good job on your marketing strategy.

I have been advised by marketing gurus a lot of times and often I would hear this advice: "Be different". The advice is always geared at being able to catch the attention of prospective clients. The idea is a basic one - one that will get the attention of customers or clients in a crowded marketplace. Your products or services must stand out in some way. The idea is to make prospectors distinguish your product or service from the competition.
There is no doubt that this is a sound advice because it will make you or your products and services stand out. But how different should you be?
A business executive once related to me his experience with this advice. This executive noticed that there were no brochure printing ads for their product. "What an interesting opportunity," he thought, "to make my business stand out to prospective clients." He spent over $500 on brochures but the result was not a single phone call.
What he had neglected to ask his marketing guys is how they distributed the
brochures. It turns out that his marketing guys wanted to be so unique that they inserted the print brochures in a magazine that no one among his target market is reading.
Sometimes you can be too unique for your own good. There is a lot in sales and marketing that is tried and true. If you decide to forge a completely new trail, you may be attempting an experiment that many others in your field have already tried with no success.
It is not always just your marketing techniques that are a little too different. The same problem can afflict the product or service you are marketing.
Being noticeably different from the competition can help you attract customers and close sales. But overdoing it without proper research may not be advantageous at all. In the example above, your target market should have been carefully considered. Before embarking on a 'unique' distribution strategy, it would have been necessary to understand how this particular market segment behaved. A simple study would have revealed that this market segment did not read or purchase the magazine that would have delivered the brochures.
Creating the perception that your product or service is one of a kind can help you capture people's attention and make them remember you. But you have to be able to identify the people you want to reach out to, and communicate how you can be of service in words they can understand.
Definitely look for a unique way to express the benefits you offer to your clients; but make sure it still communicates what you actually do. It is okay to get creative with your marketing; but do not bet the rent money on untried techniques.
If you really want to make your marketing more effective, cheaper and less stressful, stop re-inventing the wheel. Find models that work and replicate them. I am not suggesting that you plagiarize your competitors' marketing copy, but when you see someone successful in your field, find out what they are doing right, and follow their lead.
Do not let your business be a victim of "terminal uniqueness" -- the belief that you are so different from anyone else that none of the rules apply to you. Being distinctive is good; being eccentric can be unwise.

March 27, 2010 was a big day for our planet. That day, everyone around the world closed their lights for 60 minutes in celebration of global cooperation in an attempt to fight global warming. Earth Hour is done every year to send message around the globe to help fight climate change and save our planet.
That activity is done only once a year. Obviously, it is not enough to save our ailing Earth completely. We have to do drastic measures today if we do not want to experience strong storms, floods, earthquakes, and other natural calamities in increasing frequency. So what do tree-huggers recommend everyone do to help reverse the effect of climate change? RECYCLE.
Recycling is now a quickly budding discipline due largely to the environmental catastrophes experienced in all corners of the globe. As a whole, recycling is not only environment-friendly, but a source of income as well.
A growing trend in recycling today is paper recycling and recycled paper printing. With paper consumption increasing dramatically these days, paper wastes also increases. Recycled paper and recycled paper printing are beneficial and efficient ways of fulfilling our responsibility to ourselves and to nature.
1. Benefits of paper recycling and recycled paper printing. Although end products of recycled papers have rough texture, there is modern technology today that uses bleaching materials to give the paper a smooth quality. So, if you are using a recycled paper in your postcard or
brochure printing you will get almost or even better result as using commercial papers. Recycled papers are also cheaper and often more durable, giving you a much better and cost effective output.
2. Printing in recycled papers. The process is basically the same as commercial papers only that you can use eco-friendly inks such as soy and vegetable for a more economical and better quality result.
3. Recycled paper products. The use of recycled paper is basically endless. You can use it in notebooks, scrapbooks, office documents, and even business materials such as postcard and color brochure printing. Also, creative individuals can make their own printed paper bags and artworks out of recycled paper. The possibility is endless when it comes to recycled paper.
4. Paper recycling facts.
a. Israel alone consumes about 1 million tons of paper each year.
b. Almost 40% of all waste in landfills is paper.
c. Most paper thrown as waste is high quality paper.
d. Americans buy about 62 million newspapers every day, and around 44 million of them are just thrown out.
e. On an average, an American will use about 600 to 700 lbs. of paper each year.
f. One recycled tin can would power a television for about 3 hours while one plastic bottle can power a 60-watt light bulb for 3 hours.
g. Approximately, 16% of the money you pay for the items you buy is for the packaging, which eventually ends up as waste.
h. If recycling were made easier, 9 out of 10 people would recycle.
Essentially, paper recycling and recycled paper printing is easy. It can be done at home, in your office, and almost anywhere. So, do you part in saving our planet. Go out there and recycle. Doing so not only reduces the cost of paper printing, but also allow you to share in the noble act of conserving the beauty of nature, especially the trees.

All business, be it online or traditional, would eventually need brochures to promote their business. But
brochure printing need not really be expensive. There are ways you can do to reduce printing cost that will surely make a huge cut on your expenses.
Ever heard of "green" printing? Perhaps you have repeatedly heard "green living" in the streets these days with the growing concern in climate change around the globe. From foods, to grocery baskets, and even fashion style, people are going "au naturale". It's no surprise that even in printing many printing companies are considering environment-friendly printing techniques.
Green printing would definitely help you a lot in your brochures. Aside from cutting down cost, you are dutifully fulfilling your duty to saving Mother Nature. But how do you exactly practice this printing method? Here is how:
1. Recycle. Perhaps, your neighbors and government officials have repeatedly poked you to recycle. This they say is one of the best ways to reduce waste in the environment. Technology has done great in producing papers made of recycled items that are great for brochures. They come in vivid colors and paper weight that will add a great appeal to your brochure. These recycled papers also provide additional design element for better brochure image.
2. Reuse. From time to time, it is best to look through your old brochures and see which can be reused for your new campaign. To do this, avoid putting special seasonal promo in your brochures if possible. Do not put dates unless necessary, so you do not have to reprint when the promo is extended. Also, create brochure templates that can be used for several seasons. Doing so saves you a lot in printing cost and waste in the environment.
3. Consider the shape and size. The shape and size of the brochure is important, but they do not directly affect the brochure effectiveness. The design is what will initially attract the readers. So carefully plan your brochure and make sure you use design fit for use for a long time. This will ensure you do not waste money and paper in the long run.
4. Print multi-purpose brochures. To avoid throwing out your old brochures, design them in such a way that you can reuse them, perhaps as envelops, cards, posters, or folders. Simply folding the brochure can create pockets that can be used as envelop for letters. Putting business information in the brochure can also be cut out later on and used as calling cards. Simply switching from brochure to poster to cards can reduce the cost of printing different types of medium at the same time.
5. Influence through notes. Tell your readers to recycle your brochure when they are finished with it. This way they help in your eco-friendly campaign. A simple note at the back will do a lot in realizing your green campaign.
6. Use eco-friendly inks. If you are printing your brochure yourself, try using environment-friendly printer that use eco-friendly inks such as soy or vegetable inks. This will help a lot in cutting down cost, as the ink cartridges are refillable and reusable. And just like organic paper, these inks will easily decompose reducing toxic impact to the environment.
In our eco-conscious business world today, it does pay to create an environment-friendly image to your company. So, reduce your carbon footprint and help save the environment. Practice these green printing tips now!
